"The Fairbanks Inn is a beautiful facility
and was a fantastic place to use for an outdoor wedding reception. The courtyard is
beautifully landscaped, clean and nicely arranged with vibrant
flowers. Our son and his new wife were impressed with the Honeymoon
Suite with its large private balcony and Jacuzzi. The entire staff
made them feel welcomed and pampered."
"The caterer, Bagel Depot, provided
an attractive and plentiful buffet for our reception guests. The china, glasses and linens
selected provided added elegance to our outdoor wedding reception."
"The entire experience with the Fairbanks
Inn and its staff was a pleasant one. Please feel free to copy this letter and send it
to anyone that might like to know how pleased we were."
"It’s a Dog’s Afterlife"
"I enjoyed your article about the Dog Chapel [“Going
to the Dog Chapel”, July 6]. Since you didn’t list
any dog friendly accommodations, I’d like to recommend the
Fairbanks Inn in St. Johnsbury, VT. (802)748-5666. My husband and
I and two of our dogs stayed there last fall. The dogs were not
only accepted, they were welcomed. The desk clerk gave us humans
fresh chocolate chip cookies when we arrived; he then came around
the desk to greet our dogs. Our ground floor room opened onto a
large grassy lawn, making it easy to walk the dogs. Very nice."
"I do extensive traveling throughout New
England and Canada. I have stayed at the Fairbanks Inn for the
last fourteen years. The
rooms themselves are larger than any hotel or motel that I have
ever been in without getting a suite. Each regular room has its
own private balcony with sliding glass doors. The rooms are always
clean with plenty of towels. The Inn offers friendly, courteous
service, from the staff as well as housekeeping. There are many
points of interest in St. Johnsbury and its neighboring towns.
The fall foliage is spectacular. There is fresh coffee and muffins
in the lobby to start your day. Please take the time to stop in
the Fairbanks Inn, I'm sure you will enjoy staying there as much
as I do.
Thank You."

"For over 10 years now, we have enjoyed the Fairbanks
Inn as our intermediate stop enroute to Maine from Philadelphia
and back. We particularly enjoy the Inn because of it's spacious, beautiful
rooms. The rooms feature a extra dressing vanity with sink as well
as a private balcony overlooking a melodic sluiceway and a good
view of the Vermont countryside. The Fairbanks staff is efficient,
pleasant, helpful, personable and "always gets it right" regarding
advance reservations. It's my pleasure to whole heartedly recommend
the Fairbanks Inn to anyone fortunate enough to be traveling in
this area."
